Privacy policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

At Abstract we handle personal data with the same care we recommend to our clients. This policy explains what data we collect on abstract.cl, what we use it for, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights.

This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Consultoría y Desarrollo de Software Abstract Limitada, tax ID (RUT) 76.607.797-8, located at Aurelio Gonzalez 3779, Vitacura, Santiago, Chile ("Abstract"). For any question about this policy or your data, write to contacto@abstract.cl.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form: the data you enter, such as name, email, phone, company, and your message.
  • Meeting scheduling: name, email, and the details you provide when booking a slot.
  • Privacy diagnostic: name, role, business email, and company, together with your answers and the result. While you answer, your progress is stored only in your browser; the PDF report is generated on your own device.
  • Browsing: pages visited, where the visit came from (for example, a campaign), device type, and interactions with the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. What we use it for

  • Answering your enquiries and coordinating the meetings you book.
  • Giving you the diagnostic result and, if you authorise it, contacting you about our services.
  • Understanding how the site is used in order to improve it.
  • Measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns.

We process form data based on your consent, which you give when submitting them. Site measurement is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site useful and secure. We do not sell your data or use it for automated decisions that affect you.

4. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf and only to deliver their service to us:

  • HubSpot: forms, meeting scheduling, and contact management (CRM).
  • Google: Tag Manager, Analytics, and Ads for measurement; Google Workspace to store diagnostic results.
  • Microsoft Clarity: site usage analysis, such as heatmaps and anonymised session recordings.
  • Meta: advertising campaign measurement.
  • Vercel: site hosting.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Chile, mainly in the United States. In those cases we require adequate security and confidentiality measures.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact and diagnostic data for as long as needed for the purposes described, or until you ask us to delete it. Browsing data is kept for each provider's period, shown in the cookie table.

7. Your rights

Under Chilean Law 19.628 and, from its entry into force on 1 December 2026, Law 21.719, you may request:

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration, and we limit access to the people who need it for the purposes described.
